I prepare cooked from scratch meals for use at a later date by batch cooking and freezing.

By cooking from scratch I can make homemade ready meals to reaheat when we are in a hurry or are too tired to cook. Frugal living doesn't mean going without nice food, on our homestead it means being organised and saving money where we can.
